Kristoffer Marshall rolls to Dixie Mid-Master title; Chad Branton captures Senior

Coral Springs, Fla. — The 2025 Dixie Senior & Mid-Master Invitational wrapped Saturday at Eagle Trace Golf Club with convincing wins in both featured divisions. Kristoffer Marshall of Scottsdale, Ariz., delivered a wire-to-wire performance to claim the Mid-Master crown at 8-under par, continuing a decorated résumé that includes Arizona State Championship victories in 2013 and 2021. In the Senior Championship Division, Chad Branton of Cartersville, Ga., separated late in the week with the low round of the tournament to win at 7-under.
Mid-Master Division: Marshall cruises at 8-under
Marshall never gave the field a real opening, stacking two rounds in the 60s to build a cushion before calmly closing with a final-round 71. His rounds of 68-69-71—208 (-8) made him the only Mid-Master to finish better than 1-under, and he won by seven shots.
A longtime standout in the Southwest, Marshall’s Dixie title adds to an amateur career highlighted by Arizona State Championship wins in both 2013 and 2021. Born and raised in Stanley, Kansas, Marshall was a proud member of the University of Kansas men’s golf team and earned NCAA All-American honors in 2002 and 2003. He now resides in Scottsdale with his wife and three kids, competes as an Active Grass League player, and calls Silverleaf his home club.
Behind him, Haymes Snedeker of Fairhope, Ala., last year’s Mid-Master champion, finished second at 215 (-1) after rounds of 69-72-74. Dustin Sloat of Charleston, Ill., took third at even par with 72-73-71—216 (E). Andrew Smith of Oakland, Mich., and Andy Blanton of Thomasville, Ga., rounded out the top five at 218 (+2) and 219 (+3), respectively.

Senior Championship Division: Branton’s 67 seals it
Branton finished the job with the round of the tournament. After opening with back-to-back 71s, he fired a final-round 67 to pull clear and post 71-71-67—209 (-7).
John Wright of Fairhope, Ala., was Branton’s closest pursuer all week. Wright stayed in range with steady play and finished runner-up at 212 (-4) on rounds of 70-72-70, but Branton’s closing charge proved too much to answer.
Mike Combs of Savannah, Ga., took third at 214 (-2) after 71-73-70, with Rick Stimmel of Pittsburgh, Pa., fourth at 215 (-1) on 71-73-71. Scott Stevens of Encinitas, Calif., and Allen Peake of Macon, Ga., shared fifth at even par, each finishing at 216.

About the Dixie Senior & Mid-Master Invitational
The Dixie Senior & Mid-Master Invitational, added to the Dixie Amateur Championship family in 2019, is a 54-hole stroke-play event with no cut contested at Eagle Trace Golf Club. The tournament features three age-based divisions: Mid-Master (40–54), Senior (55–64), and Super Senior (65+), and has become a reliable early-winter showcase of top competitive amateur talent from across the country.
