Welcome to AmateurGolf.com's complete coverage of the 2025 LPGA Q-Series (LPGA Qualifying Tournament) — the multi-stage proving ground where professional dreams are made and golf’s next stars earn their shot at the LPGA Tour.
This guide features the full schedule, results, course information, and advancing players from every stage — from early qualifying to the Final Qualifying in December. Follow along as top amateurs and seasoned pros battle for LPGA Tour cards and Epson Tour status.
Germany’s Helen Briem capped off a dominant week at RTJ Golf Trail at Magnolia Grove in Mobile, Alabama, earning medalist honors at 13-under 273. She finished one shot clear of Soo Bin Joo (-12), with Ryann O’Toole, Jing Yan, Mohan Du and Perrine Delacour all sharing third place at 11-under 275 as the battle for LPGA Tour cards came down to the final round. Ultimately, 31 players are headed to the LPGA Tour next year!
The Final Qualifying Stage of the 2025 LPGA Q-Series unfolded as a 72-hole event rather than the originally scheduled 90 holes. Severe weather during Round 3 forced play to be suspended at 9:05 a.m. local time due to unplayable course conditions, with a restart at 2:30 p.m. before officials decided to cancel the partially completed round and shorten the tournament. Despite the disruption, all four rounds were completed by Tuesday, December 9, with no cut and the top 25 and ties at the conclusion of play earning LPGA Tour cards for the 2026 season, while those behind them secured Epson Tour and/or conditional status based on their final positions.

The LPGA Qualifying Series (Q-Series) is the official 3 stage qualifying pathway for earning membership on the LPGA and Epson Tour. The top 25 and ties at the Final Qualifying Stage will earn LPGA status for the 2026 season.
There are three regional Pre-Qualifying sites hosting 54-hole competitions from Sept. 23-26th, with Qualifying contested in October and Final Qualifying in December.
For female golfers aspiring to join the LPGA Tour, qualifying is no walk in the park and there are fewer spots up for grabs. Recently, the LPGA reduced the number of cards earned through Q-School (Q-Series) from 45 down to 25, and increased those given via the Epson Tour, from 10 to 15.

Cut line: +4 (Top-30 and ties advance to LPGA Q-Series: Qualifying Stage)
Players who advance to the Final Qualifying stage will compete at Magnolia Grove Golf Course in Mobile, AL Dec. 5-9th (revised dates).
The top 25 and ties at this stage will earn LPGA status for the 2026 season. In the past, the next 20 players receive partial status, while players not finishing in the top 40 of the Final Stage receive Epson Tour status. Final Qualifying is also open to LPGA tour members ranked #101-#150 and Epson tour members ranked #11-#35 (including ties). Before playing in the Final Qualifying Stage, players must announce their professional status (once they participate in this final round, they will have some sort of status to a professional tour). Last year, 99 players competed and the cut line for LPGA status was -6 over 5 rounds, with the winning score, from Miyu Yamashita, being -27.
“The changes to the LPGA Q-Series structure, specifically the Pre-Qualifying stage, were made based on feedback on timing and location. The three-site model for Pre-Qualifying accommodates players in different regions, minimizes wait time for athletes advancing from Pre-Qualifying to Qualifying and allows the LPGA to utilize one course for each competition to improve player preparation for the event,” said LPGA Senior Vice President of Tournament Operations, Tommy Tangtiphaiboontana. “We are excited to enhance our Q-Series competitions through these updates, which align with our goal of providing the best players in the world adequate pathways to compete on the LPGA Tour.”
