Men’s Division: Hartej Grewal Pulls Away Late to Win

Hartej Grewal of Pleasanton, California closed with a 66 to finish at 272 (-16) and capture the 110th Southwestern Amateur Championship. Grewal posted rounds of 71-68-67-66, holding off a surging Matthew Javier (Canada), who shot 67 in the final round and finished solo second at 274 (-14).

Rounding out the podium was Brandon Knight of Pleasanton, CA, who fired a final round 66 to finish third at 276 (-12). A logjam at T4 included Charlie Wylie, Kentaro Nanayama, and several others at 278 (-10).

Women’s Division: Pimchompoo Holds On for Historic Victory

Pimchompoo Chaisilprungruang of Thailand held off a late charge to claim the 2025 Southwestern Women's Amateur title at 279 (-9), carding a final round 69. It marks the biggest amateur win of her career and caps off four consistent rounds of 73-68-69-69.

China's Kaili Xiao finished solo second at 281 (-7), while Makayla Tyrrell and Amy DeKock tied for third at 282 (-6). A trio of players followed at 284 (-4), including Natalie Yen, Amelie Zalsman, and Lauren Olivares.
