Widner and Littleton lead by ten shots in the Open Division while Spencer and Marshall Cole continue to lead the Father-Son

Brett Widner and Matt Littleton shot the low round of the day with a 6-under 65 in the Open Division to take a ten-shot lead into the final round of the 2025 AmateurGolf.com Two-Man Links at Bandon Dunes.

The talented duo is 4-under total with rounds of 71-74-65.

Ben Whipple/Sherman Haggerty and Jeff Eiserman/Kirk Viehl are T2 at 6-over with 18 holes remaining. AmateurGolf.com founder Pete Wlodkowski/Peter Davison is in solo fourth place at 8-over, and Randall Conn and Jeff Andersson are in solo fifth place at 10-over.

Spencer and Marshall Cole shot a 2-over 73 and are 5-under with rounds of 68-68-73 and lead the Father-Son Division by four shots over Connor and Doug Donnelly, who are in solo second place at 1-under.

Eiserman and Viehl lead the Senior Division at 4-over, while Wlodkowski and Davison are hot on their tails at 5-over, just one shot back.

SECOND ROUND RECAP

Spencer and Marshall Cole took a commanding lead during a windy day in the Father-Son Division at the 2025 AmateurGolf.com Two-Man Links at Bandon Dunes. The Coles are 7-under and lead by eight shots after a round of 4-under 68 in the second round.

The second round was played at Sheep Ranch, and winds gusted upwards of 40 miles per hour. However, golfers took advantage of that when they were downwind, as Spencer drove the green on the 400-yard par-4 No. 9.

The Coles tied for the best round of the day. Their playing partners, Liam and Scot Wilson, even remarked, "It was one of the best ball striking rounds I've ever watched," Scot said about Spencer.

Liam, who is 14, is the youngest player in the field. He said this was his first time at Bandon and that he "wants to stay there forever." I think we can all agree with that.

Tied for the round of the day with the Coles was Meaghan and Stuart Kari, who also shot a 4-under 68 after an 82 in the first round.

"The biggest difference for both of us was making more putts," Stuart Kari said. "Meaghan was striking the ball much today and seemed to be in a groove, and didn't let the wind rattle her. Overall, we just ham and egg'ed it well."

Connor and Doug Donnelly are in solo second place in the Father-Son Division at 1-over and eight shots back of the Coles.

Brett Widner/Matt Littleton lead the Open Division by two shots at 2-over, and Jeff Eiserman/Kirk Viehl lead the Senior Division by one shot at 4-over.

Golfers were also treated to a Fujikura and Callaway Demo Day, and groups came from Berlin, Germany, and Hollywood, Northern Ireland, Rory McIlroy's hometown, for the tournament.

In fact, Adrian and BJ Eastwood of Northern Ireland were interviewed by the BBC after McIlroy's win outside of a coffee shop in Hollywood about McIlroy's Masters win, and he joked he didn't know what happened and wasn't a golfer.

FIRST ROUND RECAP

The first round at Bandon Dunes is complete, and Brett Widner of Indianapolis, Ind., and Matt Littleton of Avon, Ind., shot the only even par round or better in the Open Division to take a one-shot lead into the second round.

The weather was sunny in classic Bandon Dunes fashion, but the wind made the course difficult for the golfers all day.

Jeff Eiserman of Springfield, Mo., and Kirk Viehl of Edwardsville, Ill., and Ben Whipple of El Dorado Hills, Calif., and Sherman Haggerty of Marietta, S.C. are T2 at 1-over.

Similar to years past, the Father-Son Division is producing the lowest scores.

Adrian and BJ Eastwood of Hollywood, Northern Ireland, lead at 6-under, while Connor and Doug Donnelly of Seattle, Wash., and Kyle and Peter Gibbons of Jacksonville, Fla., are T2 at 5-under. Nine teams shoot rounds of even par or better.
