Pabin shot 9-under with three rounds of 3-under 69 to win the individual competition by one shot.
UCLA and Jay Pabin of Colorado State won the team and individual titles at the 2024 Preserve Golf Club Collegiate at The Preserve Golf Club in Carmel, Calif.
UCLA, who finished second in this event last season, won the team competition by ten shots after a strong final round of 11-under 277. They shot team rounds of 279-285-277 to get to 23-under.
The Bruins went wire-to-wire to secure the win.
San Diego State finished in solo second place at 13-under, while Colorado State finished in solo third place at 9-under. Oregon finished in solo fourth place at 3-under, and Long Beach State finished in solo fifth place at 1-over to round out the top five.
In the individual competition, Jay Pabin of Colorado State finished 9-under and secured the one-shot win
Pabin was consistent, shooting three rounds of 3-under 69 to get him to 9-under. Pablo Ereno of UCLA made a push in the final round, shooting a 6-under 66 to get to 8-under, but a birdie on No. 17 from Pabin saw him secure the win.
Ereno propelled eleven shots up the leaderboard on the final day.
Chanachon Chokprajakchat of San Diego State also finished T2 and one shot back of Pabin at 8-under. Eric Doyle of Oregon finished in solo fourth place at 7-under, and Charlie Forster of Long Beach State finished in solo fifth place at 6-under to round out the top five.
