Last year, Kyrinis recorded the lowest finish ever by an amateur at this championship, finishing T6 at 2-over.

FIRST TWO ROUNDS RECAP

After weather forced the second round to be finished on Saturday morning, seven amateurs made the cut at the U.S. Senior Women's Open at Fox Chapel Golf Club in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Terrill Samuel led the group of seven at 3-over, while Sarah Jones Gallagher, Judith Kyrinis, and Kristine Franklin made the cut at 5-over. Samuel carded rounds of 75-70 in the opening two rounds.

Franklin shot an impressive even par 71 to sit T11 after round one, but a 5-over 76 saw her fall back in the leaderboard during round two.

Last year, Kyrinis recorded the lowest finish ever by an amateur at this championship, finishing T6 at 2-over.

Michele Thompson finished the first two rounds at 6-over. Brenda Corrie Kuehn, who will play in the U.S. Women's Amateur with her daughter Rachel, finished the first two rounds at 7-over, along with Shelly Stouffer.
