Due to expansive coverage from Golf Channel and Peacock, here's how you can watch the 23 amateurs in the field
The USGA, in partnership with NBCUniversal, will showcase 16 live hours of the 79th U.S. Women’s Open, Presented by Ally on Peacock, USA Network, and NBC. USA Network and Peacock will combine to present 16 hours of live coverage on Thursday and Friday, and six of the 10 hours will air on NBC over the weekend. In addition to live coverage, “Golf Central’s Live From the U.S. Women’s Open Presented by Ally” will present more than 16 hours of live studio coverage on Golf Channel and Peacock beginning Wednesday, May 29.
In addition to the linear telecasts on Peacock, USA Network, and NBC all four days, viewers can also enjoy expanded Featured Group coverage on uswomensopen.com, the USGA App, and Peacock. For the first time, the coverage will present two morning and two afternoon Featured Groups on all four days of the championship. In addition to Featured Groups, NBC will present a Peacock exclusive, “Golden Hour,” which will be a second-screen experience hosted by Mike Tirico. This special live show will invite Olympic-themed guests to watch the best women in the world compete on the greatest stage in golf.
The USGA App Built by Deloitte* is an all-in-one destination for fans that offers features and innovations to bolster wall-to-wall content for the U.S. Women’s Open and provide a more engaging digital landscape in which fans can immerse themselves.
New this year, the app will feature a leaderboard, “Showcase Mode,” which is designed to innovate in the area that garners the most interaction and engagement. This mode will offer live streaming and immersive, vertical video storytelling. Fans will also be able to follow the championship leaderboard and individual player scorecards on their iOS phone’s lock screen via Live Activities.
