Terrance Miskell edges out Bryan Hoops to win the Trans-Mississippi Senior

Terrance Miskell,
Lee Sandlin, and
Eddie Lyons all won their respective division at the Trans-Mississippi Senior Championship at The Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Ark.
Miskell recorded the come-from-behind win, shooting rounds of 78-72-70 to finish 4-over and winning the Senior Division over Bryan Hoops by one shot.
Miskell was four shots behind Hoops after the first round, but his second and third rounds of 72-70 saw him propel up the leaderboard.
Randy Haag finished in solo third place at 8-over, and Mike Lohner and Jon Lindstrom finished T4 at 10-over to round out the top five of the leaderboard.
Lindstrom won the 2023 Trans-Mississippi Senior and had an impressive showing in his title defense.
Miskell is ranked No. 125 in the AmateurGolf.com Senior Rankings. Haag is currently ranked No. 10 and recently won the Society of Seniors Masters.
SUPER SENIOR DIVISION
Lee Sandlin won the Super Senior Division by five shots, finishing 7-over and carding rounds of 77-74-72. Sandlin started the day one shot behind Mike Peck, but a final round 6-over 78 from Peck opened the door for Sandlin. Peck finished in solo second place at 12-over.
Greg Goode finished in solo third place at 14-over, Michael Booker finished in solo fourth place at 15-over, and Bob Kearney finished in solo fifth place at 16-over.
LEGENDS DIVISION
Eddie Lyons won the Legends Division of the Trans-Mississippi Senior, shooting 6-over and winning by ten shots. He carded rounds of 74-71-77.
Jerry Hudgins finished in solo second place at 16-over.

of individual stroke play with three divisions:
Senior
(55+, max
handicap 6.0), Super Senior
(65+, max handicap 10.0) and Legends (70+, max
handicap
12.0).
