Erickson stays hot after winning twice last season, including the SNGA Tour Series Championship
Craig Erickson, representing Spanish Trail Country Club in Las Vegas, NV, secured victory in the Championship category of the Southern Nevada Tournament of Champions by two shots after shooting an impressive 1-under 71 at Reflection Bay Golf Club in Henderson, NV.
Grant McKay of KGA shot 1-over 73 to finish as the runner-up in the tournament.
Last year, Erickson won twice, the most recent being the SNGA Tour Series Championship in December.
In the Senior Division, Brady Exber of TPC Summerlin clinched victory by carding an even-par 72, securing a substantial five-shot lead over the duo of James Corey from Red Rock Country Club and Kelly Knievel from Golf Summerlin Club, both posting matching 5-over rounds of 77 in the tournament.
Mark Dopheide of Southwest Golf Club carded 2-over 74 in the Silver Division for the win.
In the Women's Division, Ronda Henderson shot 5-over 77 for a one-shot win over Christina Brandt of Canyon Gate Country Club in Las Vegas, NV.
The tournament saw 77 individuals participate in four different categories - Championship Senior, Silver, and Women’s.
