The Sunday Singles matches include a showdown between Gordon Sargent and John Gough
Great Britain and Ireland will head into the Sunday matches with a 7 1/2 to 4 1/2 lead over the United States after an impressive showing on the first day, Saturday.
John Gough and Calum Scott went 2-0 for GB&I, and Gordon Sargent went 2-0 for the United States. Gough had the most impressive win of the day, defeating 2023 U.S. Amateur Champion Nick Dunlap 6&5 in their singles match.

On Sunday, the teams will play four matches of Foursomes in the morning, and all ten players from both teams will participate in Singles in the afternoon.
For GB&I, Jack Bigham and Barclay Brown are sitting out the morning Foursomes session, and for the United States, Stewart Hagestad and David Ford are sitting out the morning Foursomes session.
