Maxwell Moldovan has had an incredibly busy and fulfilling summer. He qualified for the U.S. Open which launched a stretch of golf that sent him from Ohio to Boston to three elite amateur events: The Northeast Amateur, The North & South Amateur, and the Southern Amateur. He also just won the Stark County Amateur Championship for the third time in four years . He dominated the event at his home course by 11 shots. In a practice round, Moldovan broke the course record at Prestwick Country Club with a 61, and that was after a morning round of 62.
