The new models incorporate Callaway's precision technology, for their highest quality, best performing, most consistent balls ever

Callaway announced three new golf balls today; Chrome Soft, Chrome Soft X, and Chrome Soft X LS. The company's precision technology -- which leverages a $50M investment in their U.S.A. golf ball manufacturing facility -- ensures that all specifications throughout the manufacturing process are accurate up to 1/1000th of an inch. That's ten times smaller than an average grain of salt.

All three new models represent the highest quality, best performing, most consistent balls Callaway has ever produced. Let's take a closer look:

CHROME SOFT 22

Chrome Soft 22 is designed for a wide range of golfers who want outstanding feel, excellent distance, and incredible forgiveness. Key performance characteristics include Callaway's signature "Chrome Soft feel," more distance off the tee, low spinning iron shots, and a high level of greenside control.

CHROME SOFT X 22

Chrome Soft X is Callaway's number one ball on tours worldwide. aimed at low-handicappers with high swing speeds. It maintains the same technology as the '21 edition but is even faster off the tee this year. The ball's staples of high precision greenside control and shapeable iron play remain a key component.

It's the ball used by Phil Mickelson and Jon Rahm to win major championships in 2021. One of our recent amateur standouts, Sam Burns, plays the Chrome Soft X as well.

CHROME SOFT X LS 22

The Chrome Soft X LS 22 is the second edition of Callaway's newest design, which debuted last year. The low-spin model provides even more distance off the tee for high swing speed players than the Chrome Soft X. Compared with its predecessor, The X LS 22 has a softer cover giving more precision around the greens by letting players generate more spin on greenside shots without sacrificing long game performance.

All models sell for $49.99/dozen and are available for pre-order online today in white or yellow as well as with Callaway's Triple Track or Truvis. They will be in stores on January 28th.
