Brett Viboch and Mark Miller take victories at the Blue Rock Springs Golf Course
VALLEJO, Calif. (June 30, 2008)--Former Chico State golfer Brett Viboch rattled off consecutive 67's on the East and West Courses of the Blue Rock Springs Golf Course to take home a three-stroke victory in the men's division of the Vallejo City Championship. Roberto Galletti took second at 137, followed by Kyle Prolo and Scott Hardy.
In the senior flight reigning amateurgolf.com - Bridgestone Golf Senior Player of the Year and NCGA Senior Points champ Mark Miller fired a 149 to win the senior flight by two strokes over Bob Fleming, Jack Anthony and Ronald Wiley.
Michael Jimenez was the overall net champ at 137 and Lauren Dobashi won the women's championship by eight strokes at 151.
In the Presidents Net Flight, Vallejo's Bob Molera won with a 133, while another local golfer, Dennis Yen, took the Director's Net Flight by a stroke at 130.
