Oklahoma tops Coaches Poll as Pepperdine rises

The 2017 NCAA Champions are back on top as the spring season gets underway, but Pepperdine got more first place votes
The Oklahoma Sooners are in the top spot in first the Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll of 2020.
The 2017 NCAA Champions are back on top after seeing their in-state rivals Oklahoma State dominate the poll over much of the last two seasons. Last fall, the Sooners won two tournaments (the Nike Collegiate Invitational and the Kaanapali Collegiate) as well as a runner-up and third-place finish.

But it was No. 2 Pepperdine who received the most first-place votes, getting 16 to the Sooners' 6. The Waves are the hottest team in college golf now, with two straight wins to start the spring season.

Texas Tech, Colorado State, Notre Dame, Arizona State, and Arizona all earned a spot in the top ten.
Vanderbilt (#22) and Tennessee (#25) both rejoined the ranking this week, while Arkansas and Oregon State fell from the top 25.
