The newest Stroke Lab versions come in a multi-material mallet shape with a super high MOI

Odyssey is building upon the momentum of the release earlier this year of its Stroke Lab putters with its newest versions, both featuring a multi-material mallet shape with a super high moment of inertia (MOI).

Stroke Lab putters have been used this season by Phil Mickelson, Xander Schauffele and Francesco Molinari, who won the Arnold Palmer Bay Hill Invitational shortly after putting it into his bag.

The Stroke Lab Ten Black

The Stroke Lab Ten Black, and Bird of Prey putters come in a mallet shape and both feature the Stroke Lab shaft, which is a very light shaft -- 40 grams lighter than steel. The weight saved from the lighter shaft has been redistributed both in the head but especially in the grip-end. The result, Odyssey claims, is more stability in the club head and improved consistency and tempo in the stroke.

There is a new type of insert both new putters, with the new Microhinge Star Insert retaining the roll characteristics of the popular White Hot Microhinge insert, but with a firmer feel and more pleasing sound at impact.

The Bird of Prey

The Stroke Lab Ten Black, which is already Odyssey's #1 model on the PGA Tour, has a square shape and a single white line to assist in alignment. The sole weight is designed to increase the MOI and further increase the stability of the putter head.

The Bird of Prey has a more triangular shape due to a single weight in the sole.

Both putters are available to the public starting November 1 at a retail price of $299.
