Kent Brown, of Colville, Wash. followed up his second round 3-under par 69 with a safe score of even par 72 to win the 41st annual title

Pendleton, Oregon (June 16, 2005) -- Kent Brown, of Colville , Wash. followed up his second round 3-under par 69 with a safe score of even par 72 to win the 41st Pacific Northwest Senior Men's Amateur Championship. Chris Maletis, or Portland, Ore. gave Brown a scare by carding a 3-under par 69 and finishing within one stroke of Brown. Jim O'Rourke, of Spokane, Wash also made a run carding a 3-under par 69 and finishing two strokes behind the winner. In the Open Division, Ed Bartlett, of Meridian, Id and Bill Patterson of Portland, Ore. finished tied at 1-over 217. Bartlett and Patterson had a sudden death playoff in which Bartlett birdied the first hole to win the Open Division Championship.
