New Titleist TS Hybrids are scoring clubs designed for speed

The new TS2 and TS3 hybrids promise to allow players to replace their long irons with even more speed, launch and precision

Building upon the success of the TS2 and TS3 drivers and fairway woods released last year, Titleist has now introduced a hybrid version of each club that promises to give golfers scoring clubs to replace their long irons.

As with the fairway woods and drivers, the hybrids are engineered for speed by utilizing a thinner, faster clubface which allows greater flex at impact for greater speed, as well as a lower center of gravity due to the ability to redistribute the weight away from the impact area.

Your swing type will determine which hybrid is better for you. If you tend to sweep the ball off the turf, the slightly larger TS2 will offer higher launch and less spin with greater forgiveness.

If you tend to hit down on the ball, the TS3 offers a more compact look (like an iron) with a mid-launch that is tailored for distance and trajectory control.

Both models offer Titleist’s patented SureFit hosel with 16 independent loft and lie settings to allow players to tailor the club to their swing characteristics and preferences.

The Titleist TS2 and TS3 hybrids are available starting August 30.
