Nick Reardon claimed the Ohio Public Links Mid-Amateur at Apple Valley Golf Club in Howard, Ohio. He was the only player to finish 36 holes in red numbers.
After an opening 2-under 70, Reardon, a former college golfer at Ohio Dominican by way of DePauw, came back with even-par 72.
Behind Reardon, Josh Anderson of New Albany surged in the final round with a 3-under 69. It was the best round of the day, and helped him make up considerable ground after an opening 76. Anderson ended up tying for second with Phil Bojc of Powell and John Fryman of Westerville. All three finished the week at 1 over.
Steve Kline of Cincinnati finished solo fifth at 2 over.
After an opening 2-under 70, Reardon, a former college golfer at Ohio Dominican by way of DePauw, came back with even-par 72.
