Awards season is just around the corner in college golf, which means it’s time to start looking at potential candidates for golf’s highest honors.

For the sixth season, the Annika Award presented by 3M will recognize the most outstanding female collegian. The award is voted on by college golfers, coaches and members of the golf media. Maria Fassi, now in her final semester at Arkansas, won the 2018 award and is also on the most current watch list.

Andrea Lee tops the latest watch list. The Stanford junior collected the seventh win of her college career last month at the Norrthop Grumman Regional Challenge and is No. 1 in the Golfweek/Sagarin College Rankings.

Florida State wonder-freshman Frida Kinhult and UCLA sophomore are lined up to the play the ANA Inspiration, an LPGA major, later this month. Stanford’s Albane Valenzuela will also play that event for the second year.
