PGA Tour caddie Tesori among Florida Winter Series winners

Paul Tesori won the mid-amateur division at LPGA International with rounds of 72-74
The Florida State Golf Association crowned three winners Feb. 12 in its next-to-last Winter Series event of the season at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Paul Tesori won the mid-amateur division with a 2-over total. Tesori, of Ponte Vedra, Fla., went 3 over in his final six holes but still came out on top becaue of the lead he had built in the first round. Tesori, who caddies for PGA Tour Player Webb Simpson, had rounds of 72-74.
Christopher Anderson of Mailtand, Fla., finished second at 7 over while two players – Douglas Schneider of Lake Park, Fla., and Brett Riotto of Daytona Beach, Fla. – tied for third at 10 over.
Douglas Jones won the senior division with back-to-back rounds of 75. The Brandon, Fla., resident’s 6-over total left him four shots ahead of the next best players. Keith Nagy of Jacksonville Beach, Fla., and Len Cole of ChampionsGate, Fla., tied for second at 10 over.
This was Jones’ second Winter Series win of the season, after he won the event at Laurel Oak Country Club in December.
In the super senior division, Bobby Lundquist went 1 over, thanks to rounds of 72-73, to win by two shots. HE finished ahead of Tom Grady Jr., and Jim Carley.
