His 11-shot margin of victory would come would come by way of four consecutive rounds in the 60's for a tournament total of 12-under-par (68-69-66-69).
Wilson Furr became the youngest player to ever win the Mississippi State Amateur when he won the title in 2015, but the tournament didn’t offer everything it does now. With the win Furr has also earned a sponsors exemption to the PGA Tour’s Sanderson Farms Championship was added in 2017.
