SANTA BARBARA, CA (May 28, 2017) - UC Santa Barbara sophomore to be Keith Moles handled the field and the Santa Barbara Golf Club to win the Santa Barbara Championship by a comfortable six-strokes.

Moles, with a pair of top-10 finishes in AmateurGolf.com California Rankings events last year, finished the 54-hole event with a 202 tally well clear of runner-up Collin Waring (208).

Third place was shared by Ethan Ashbrook (210) and Jonathan Collins (210) while Brandon Gama (211) and Jake Williams (211) tied for fifth.

Other winners included Danny Carroll (Palmer Flight), Derrick Ford (Hogan Flight), J.R. Tricase (Nicklaus Flight) and John Dwyer (Trevino Flight).

The tournament, held during Memorial Day Weekend, is a 54-hole individual stroke play championship by flights, maximum handicap 16.0 for men, 34.9 for women (women play net competition only). The field is cut after 36 holes to the low 30% plus ties.
