The new Apex Muscleback Irons and X Forged Iron will both be released November 3rd
(October 17, 2017) - Earlier this month Callaway Golf unveiled its new X Forged and Apex Muscleback Irons both of which are set to be released on Friday, November 3rd.
The X Forged Irons offer the golfer a perfect blend of performance, control, turf interaction and feel through triple net forging. A design popular with Tour players, the X Forged Irons offers a single piece, cavity back that features Tour configurations for the soles, CG progression for precision shot-making and accuracy.
X Forged Irons Features and Benefits
Exceptional Feel and Control:
The X Forged Irons feature triple net forging for exceptional feel and high performance. The Tour configured soles are designed for excellent turf interaction from a variety of lies.
Precision Grooves and CG Progression:
With 20V grooves the club face promotes a high level of control and excellent spin out of any playing conditions. They also reduce fliers from the rough, and the CG locations are optimized for even more control.
Classic Shaping:
Inspired by some of Callaway's most popular forged irons the X Forged Irons offer a clean and classic look that are smooth and appealing at address.
The Apex Muscleback Irons are designed for the best of the best players and they are popular among numerous professional Tours. While designing the Apex Muscleback the Callaway staff listened to and took into consideration the input of many pro players.

This model features a classic shape and style. The clubs offers a traditional yet with a slightly thinner top line and also a bright chrome finish to Callaway's smallest blade head shape. Furthermore Callaway has advanced their CG positioning to optimize the CG for outstanding control.
High Performance 20V Grooves
With precision grooves built in players can expect to be able to control the ball and get consistent spin at a high level in any playing condition. The 20V grooves have also been designed to limit flyers.
Forged From 1025 Carbon Steel
This players iron was engineered for a remarkably soft feel that Tour players want, with the exact craftsmanship and precision they expect.
