Both teams had academic commitments that prevented them from attempting qualifying closer to home earlier in the qualifying window.

Play begins at the Jupiter Hills Club on May 19. After two rounds of four-ball stroke play qualifying, the field will be cut to the low 32 for match play. The 18-hole final match will be played May 23.
