Qualifying has been completed at 64 sites across the country; see who has made it to the Capital City Club in Atlanta
4,386 entries were accepted for the championship. 29 players, including reigning title holder and 2017 USA Walker Cup competitor Stewart Hagestad, are exempt into the championship, with the remainder of the 264-player field coming from sectional qualifying.

Rancho Santa Fe, CA: Shane Sigsbee earned his second USGA qualifying medal of the summer, after winning a U.S. Amateur qualifier in July. Sigsbee won the Anderson Memorial at Winged Foot with partner Kenny Ebalo and made it to the final 16 of the 2014 U.S. Mid-Amateur.

Play begins at the Capital City Club and Atlanta National Golf Club on October 7. After two rounds of stroke play qualifying, the field will be cut to the low 64 for match play at the Capital City Club. The 36-hole final match will be played October 12.
