Amateur Scott Gregory misses the Memorial Tournament Cut

2016 British Amateur winner Scott Gregory played in the Memorial Tournament this week
DUBLIN, OH (June 2, 2017) - 2016 British Amateur winner Scott Gregory played in the Memorial Tournament this week hosted by Muirfield Village Golf Course.
Gregory, who played in this years Masters, struggled during his two rounds and ended up missing the cut with a 4-over showing. In the first round Gregory shot a 4-over 76 before carding an even-par 72 in the second round as he ended up missing the cut by a stroke.
During the round Gregory birdied four-times, including on the final hole, but his bid to reach the weekend was undone by a pair of double-bogeys. The first came on No. 6 while the second was on the 16th.
As part of the spoils of victory from the British Amateur Gregory will be playing in the U.S. Open at Erin Hills.
