Ackerman and Weiner continued their solid play to capture their third straight title in the South Carolina Super Senior Four-Ball
BLYTHEWOOD, SC (May 17, 2017) - George Ackerman & Mike Weiner continued their solid play to capture their third straight title in the South Carolina Super Senior Four-Ball held at Cobblestone Park Golf Club in Blythewood, SC with a final round of 66 and a two-day total of eleven under par 131.
Ackerman (Charleston) & Weiner (Kiawah Island) completed the final round carding two bogeys matched with seven birdies to finish one shot ahead of first round co-leaders John Laehn (Aiken) and Patrick Luskey (Aiken). The teams of Jim Burgess & Bob Hammersla and Jimmy Hawkins & Jimmy Martin finished in a tie for third with a two-day total of 133.
The Championship Division Second Flight ended in a tie for first place. The team of Bob Bacon & Barnaby Henderson finished tied with fellow competitors Tom Gaines & Johnny McBee with a two-day total of 140.
In the Legends Division, Steve Pachol & Greg Schachner won their second straight Legends Division title after a blistering second round 61. First round leaders Vic Hannon and Bob Stringer finished alone in second after a closing round of 73.
About the South Carolina Super Senior Four Ball

The Championship will be split into two Divisions - a Championship Division for players 65-69 and a Legends Division for players over the age of 70.
