Dylan Meyer was Named the SGA April Amateur of the Month

The Illinois junior won three-times in April including at the Big 10 Championship
Meyer, a junior at the University of Illinois, started his winning streak at the 3M Augusta Invitational, where he also earned an exemption at next year’s Valspar Championship at Innisbrook Resort’s Copperhead Course in Palm Harbor, Florida.
Meyer then went on to capture the title at the Robert Kepler Invitational in Columbus, Ohio as well as the Big 10 Conference Championship, where Illinois took their eighth Big 10 title over the course of the past nine years, and the Individual title for the 7th consecutive year.
Winners of the SGA’s monthly award are determined by a blue-ribbon national panel of golf officials, coaches and journalists. Now in its 14th season, notable recipients have been Bill Haas, Michelle Wie, Hunter Mahan, Ryan Moore, J. B. Holmes, Webb Simpson, Rhys Davies, Kyle Stanley, Kevin Fortin-Simard, Rickie Fowler, Danny Lee, Matthew Fitzpatrick, Alice Hewson, and more recently Lee McCoy & Aaron Wise.
