6th annual event kicks off at Pacific Dunes with a record field of 102 players from the U.S., Canada, and England
BANDON, Oregon (April 22, 2007) -- The 6th annual amateurgolf.com Two Man Links Championship began today at the Bandon Dunes Resort, with a field of 51 teams from the U.S., Canada, and England making their way to the Southern Oregon coast to compete.
Brad Kropp and Bill Roberts from Oklahoma paced the Championship Division
with a 2-under 69, while George Adams and Rick Baker from Houston's Champions
Golf Club lead the Senior Division after a 67. Harvey Campbell and Louis Long
from Birmingham, Alabama are tied with Norm Duncan and Brian McGuire from British
Columbia at 71 in the Super Senior Division.
Robert Bristow and William Strong from Austin, Texas lead the Net Division
at 10-under 61. Weather was spectacular as winds were moderate and sunny skies
washed the Thomas Doak layout.
