John Kennedy-John Dowdall team to claim Temple Senior Cup

LUFKIN, TX (April 8, 2017) -- John Kennedy and John Dowdall fended off the field during Saturday's final round to win the Temple Senior Cup by four shots. The duo posted rounds of 67-70-69 to finish the tournament at Crown Colony Country Club 10-under.

Steve Love and Mike Peck finished second at 6-under, Titus Harris and Mike Booker placed third with a 3-under showing while in a tie fourth at 1-under it was John Pigg and Eddie Lyons; Gary Christopher and Gerald Richardson; Tim Carlton and Mike Rice.

In the Super Senior Division Bob Hullender and Sam Boyd took home the title with a 74-69-72 1-under showing.

Gary Seaman and Jim Martin; Gordon Butler and Aaron Billings ended up one shot back in second place at even-par.
