TAMPA, FL (February 13, 2017) -- Two-strokes down at the start of the day didn't prove to be much of a problem for Thad Hudgens and Chad Ibbotson. After a first round 72 at the Florida Winter Series - Tampa Palms Golf & Country Cub Four-Ball the duo fired a 70 to finish with a two day 142 winning tally.

First round leaders Jimmy Jones Sr. and Eric Coleman (70-74--144) shared second place with Kenny Davis and Kelly Sellers (72-72--144) while two other teams were four shots further back in a tie of fourth.

It was tight race in the Senior Division but eventually Ted Speltz and Anthony Baccari (66-69--135) prevailed by one over Neil Vanleeuwen and Dick Clemens (68-68--136).

The biggest win of the 36-hole tournament went to Super Senior winners Kim Schwencke and Robert Lundquist (68-67--135) who defeated runner-ups Jerry Young and Pete McDade (68-70--138) by three-strokes.
