ST. GEORGE, UT (February 11, 2017) -- Good things happen to those who wait. The St. George Amateur was originally scheduled for early January but snow postponed the event until mid February and winner Zach Jones was just fine with that.
Jones took the lead with a first round 65 at St. George Municipal Golf Course and never looked back on his way to a four shot win. Jones closed his week with a second round 73.
David Jennings and John Reid shared second with a 142 total while four others shared fifth.
