In a memorable final Somi Lee upset world No. 4 Hye Jin Choi 2&1 at Terrey Hills Golf and Country Club

TERREY HILLS, New South Wales (February 3, 2017) -- In a memorable final Somi Lee upset world No. 4 Hye Jin Choi 2&1 to capture the Women's NSW Amateur at Terrey Hills Golf and Country Club. For Lee it was her second big win in last six weeks after she captured the Girl's Junior Orange Bowl International at the end of December. In the semifinals Choi defeated reigning champion Ga Young Lee 2&1 while Lee handled Hyun Kyung Park by the same margin. In the quarterfinals Choi moved on thanks to a 4&2 victory over Yunji Jeong while for Lee it was a 3&2 triumph over Haeran Ryu.
