UC Davis junior Jesse Bratz edges Zach Sims by one shot to take the Napa City
NAPA, Calif. (November 6, 2016) -- UC Davis junior Jesse Bratz captured the Napa City Championship Sunday at Napa Municipal Golf Course.
Bratz, born in nearby Pleasanton, opened with a round 69 (-3) on Saturday which put him one-shot behind the leader Zach Sims entering the final round. His final round 70 (-2) was just enough to edge Sims who shot an even-par 72. Bratz's teammate, senior Nicholas Noya, finished third after rounds of 71 and 70.
The Senior division was captured by Greg O'Malley with rounds of 72 and 71. The Sonoma, Calif. won by a margin over six shots over runner-up Tom Marks
About the Napa City Amateur

36-hole stroke play tournament with Championship and Senior flights. Seniors are players age 55 and over. Both events are part of the NCGA Points program.
