Fourth Consecutive Win for Scott, Higton at Sandpiper Invitational

Jordan Scott and Jason Higton shoot a final-round 65 for a fourth consecutive Sandpiper Invitational win.

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (November 6, 2016) -- Jordan Scott and Jason Higton captured the Sandpiper Invitational for the fourth consecutive year Sunday. The pair opened with a 2-under 70 to sit in a tie for 2nd entering the final round, one shot off the lead of Travis Olsen and Danny Licursi. Higton and Scott made up the one shot deficit and then some. The pair blew away the field with a 7-under 65, giving them a five-shot win. Bobby Combs and Rick Taniguchi finished runner-up with a two round total of 140 while Danny Licursi and Travis Olsen finished third after a final round 72.
