Harder Hall Invitational: Leah Wigger brings home title

Leah Wigger closes with 71
SEBRING, Florida (January 7, 2007) -- Leah Wigger can return for her final season at the University of Virginia with another title on her resume. The senior from Louisville, Kentucky began play with a five stroke lead over Vanderbilt’s Jacqui Concolino and Auburn’s Candace Schepperle.
Schepperle managed to close the gap but Wigger continued her sterling play with a one under par 71 to maintain a three shot lead to win her first Harder Hall Title.
Auburn’s other Schepperle Abigale tied her sister Candace for low round of the day at 3 under par 69. Junior Isabelle Lendl also shot under par at 70.
Concolino managed to hold on to third place by two strokes over the junior golfer from Scotland Sally Watson.
The Harder Hall Invitational is the first event on the women's Orange Blosson Tour which continues next week in Ormond Beach with the South Atlantic Amateur (Sally). For more information see: http://www.harderhallwomens.com/obt.html
