Len Komar finished with a two day 143 total at Strawberry Farms Golf Club
IRVINE, CA (October 2, 2016) -- Len Komar finished with a two day 143 total at Strawberry Farms Golf Club to win the Irvine City Amateur Championship. Komar, who finished tied for 12th earlier this year at the Inland Empire Amateur, was able to win by the slimmest of margins over Chris Casey (144).
Behind Komar and Casey were Shigetoshi Hasegawa (145) in third, Justin Collins (146) in fourth and John Brown (147) in fifth.
The Junior Flight Championship was captured by Guy Clauss who combined his two days scores to finish at 146 and 12-strokes in front of runner-up John Michael Jurgensen (158). In third it was Michelle Du (159).
Other flight winners include L. Blaine Howard (Flight A), Daniel Schmidt (Flight B) and J.J. Hall (Flight C).
