With rounds of 73-75 Greg Condon was able to finish 4-over at Red Hawk Golf Club
LAS CRUCES, NM (September 25, 2016) -- With rounds of 73-75 Greg Condon was able to finish 4-over and win the New Mexico-West Texas Mid-Amateur by two-strokes at Red Hawk Golf Club.
During his opening round, Condon tallied three birdies and four bogeys. The birdies came on Nos. 3, 7 and 13. On Sunday Condon was unable to birdie a hole but he was able to limit his mistakes to just three bogeys, all in a five hole stretch from Nos. 9-13.
Wallace Nelson was second at 6-over, Russell Nielsen finished third with a 9-over score, in fourth it was Mark Ahmann at 10-over while Daniel Medina and Eric Diaz were 12-over in fifth.
In the Women's Mid-Amateur Samantha Surette won the title with Brandi McKnight in second and Jodi Copley in third.

Must be a SCAGA member. Open to men and women age 25 and up. 36-hole stroke play open with gross and net flights.
