Dixie Women's Amateur: UCF standout Mayule Tomimbang holds lead

Eleven year old Alexis Thompson just one back
POMPANO BEACH, Florida (January 4, 2007) --Beautiful warm weather has been the theme for this year’s Dixie Amateur Golf Championship, but gusting, winds changed the scoring for round three. The low round of the day was posted by Christina Hirano of Pinole, California who shot a -3 under Par 68 to move into second place two shots behind leader Mayule Tomimbang of Kissimmee, Florida.
Lurking one shot back is eleven year old Alexis Thompson of Coral Springs, Florida. Thompson is 5 over Par with a score of 218. There are ten women within six shots of the leader with just 18 holes to play. The Women’s Division will be decided on the Oaks course tomorrow morning.
