Eleven-year-old Michelle Shin is two shots back.
POMPANO BEACH, Florida (January 3, 2007)--Vicki Hurst of Melbourne, Florida aced the par 3 17th Hole on her way to an even-par 71 on the Cypress course.
Hurst used a 5 iron from 151 yards for her first hole-in-one. She is tied for second along with Michelle Shin of Cape Coral, Floirida. Both are one shot behind Mayule Tominbang of Kissimmee, Florida.
Eleven-year-old Alexis Thompson of Coral Springs shot 74 and is two shots behind the leader. Forty players made the cut at 159 or better.
