Defending champions Oklahoma quickly erased their two-shot deficit and are battling it out with San Diego State.

INDEPENDANCE, MN. (September 11th, 2016) -- The final round of the Gopher Invitational in underway at Windsong Farm Golf Club hosted by University of Minnesota. Oklahoma, led by junior Grant Hirschman, started the day tied for 2nd place with Arkansas, two strokes behind San Diego State. The defending champions have already erased the 2-shot margin through their opening six holes and are neck-and-neck with San Diego State in what looks to be a two-team race to the finish. San Diego State has been led by junior Blake Abercrombie who's postdd 1-under 141 thus far, tallying two eagles and six birdies so far. Michigan State's Sam Weatherhead and Iowa's Raymond Knoll currently lead the individual race at 4-under par. Follow live-scoring using the link below.

54-hole men's college event hosted by the University of Minnesota at Windsong Farm Golf Club. Team (best four scores out of five players each round) and individual competitions. The field includes programs from the Big Ten, Pac 12, and Big 12.
