Chamberlin, Newman pair for repeat Kansas Sr. Four-Ball title

NEWTON, KS (July 12, 2016) -- Tracy Chamberlin and Steve Newman made it back-to-back championships at the Kansas Senior Four-Ball Championship. The Wichita duo posted consecutive 6-under par 66's at Sand Creek Station Golf Course to post a one shot victory over the Topeka team of Gary Lucas and David Carson.
Lucas and Carson both missed birdie putts on the final hole that would have forced a playoff. The teams of Mark Steiner/Mike Rack; Mark Worthey/Dave Kirschbaum finished in a tie for third place.
In the Super Senior Division, Bob Bezek and Jim Seward posted a phenomenal 8-under par 64 in the final round to run away with the title at 9-under-par ,135 total. Round one co-leaders, teams of Bob Vidricksen/Doug Kaup and Bill Quattlebaum/Ben York finished tied for second at 4-under-par, 140 total.
