Callaway plans to introduce additions to the Mack Daddy 3 wedge family in early June.
The new 50-degree and 52-degree W Grind wedges have a wider sole than the standard MD3 wedge, so they should be especially effective in the sand, in soft turf conditions and for players who have a steep angle of attack.
The new 64-degree C Grind wedge is a low-bounce option for players who want to be aggressive around the greens and open the face without worrying about the leading edge coming up. Its heel and toe relief should allow skilled golfers to create a wide variety of shots from different lies.

The grooves in the new 50- and 52-degree gap wedges are virtually identical to the grooves found in Callaway’s irons. The grooves in the 64-degree C Grind lob wedge are wider and shallower to help remove water and debris from the face at impact.
The new wedges will be in stores June 3 and cost $129.99 each.
