Shawn Hodge and Stan Gann were the winning duo at the 2016 Peach Blossom Invitational
MACON, GA (May 1, 2016) - Shawn Hodge and Stan Gann were the winning duo at the 2016 Peach Blossom Invitational. The pairing finished the 54-hole four-ball tournament at Idle Hour Golf and Country Club 17-under-par and six-strokes clear of the rest of the field.
Hodge and Gann tore apart the par 70 Macon, GA golf course with scores of 63-62-68. The duo combined for 21 birdies and only four bogey's, three of which came on Sunday. In a bit of a statistical oddity Hodge and Gann were 3-under for the week on par-3's, 15-under on par-4's and 1-over on par-5's.
The teams of Scott Clark and Jay Blackburn were 11-under in second place while Adam Cooper and Bubba Gallops were third at 10-under.
About the Peach Blossom Invitational

A premier Four-Ball tournament in Georgia started in 1947. Three rounds of medal play with flights determined after the first two rounds. Par 3 tournament and putting contest held the day before the first round.
