In the first stroke play event of the season Joe Hayden got off to a quick start winning the Fort Wayne HOF Championship
FORT WAYNE, IN (May 1, 2016) - In the first stroke play event of the season Joe Hayden got off to a quick start winning the Fort Wayne Hall of Fame Championship. Hayden finished the 36-hole event 1-under to win by five-strokes over three players tied for second at 6-over.
Hayden shot rounds of 71-74 on his way to an opening season victory. During the 36-hole event Hayden birdied five holes including three during Saturday's first round.
Scott Toner, Clay Spangler and Brian Straley all finished in the second place tie. Neil Brown and Matt Schmidt tied for fifth at 8-over.
About the Fort Wayne Hall of Fame

Open to amateur males only. 36 Hole medal play in gross and net divisions. All players are automatically entered into both divisions. Must be member of FWGA.
