Chrysler Club Championship: Norcal Regionals

Jamie Edman of Green Valley (69) wins the Mens title while Lynn Cowan (72) tops the Womens Division

SAN MARTIN, Calif. (Oct 2, 2006) -– With a final score of 3-under 69, Jamie Edman of Green Valley Country Club is the regional male club champion and with a final score of 72, Lynne Cowan is the regional female club champion of this year’s Northern California PGA Chrysler Club Regional Championship. The Chrysler Club Championship, presented by Golf Digest Companies, is an amateur golf competition for men and women played in a series of matches at local, regional and national levels. The top four men and top four women from this regional qualifier are invited to compete in the National Chrysler Club Championship held October 25-29, 2006 at the Westin Innisbrook Golf Resort in Florida during the PGA Tour’s Chrysler Championship. The male and female winners from the finals will receive the opportunity to play in the 2007 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic with celebrities and some of the best golf professionals in the world. The Northern California PGA partners with Chrysler, the Golf Digest Companies and Callaway Golf to host the Chrysler Club Regional Championship to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the American Junior Golf Association.
