Steve Schneiter used rounds of 66-68 and finished 8-under as he won the Arizona Senior Open
WICKENBURG, AZ (April 29, 2016) - Steve Schneiter used rounds of 66-68 and finished 8-under as he won the Arizona Senior Open by an impressive seven-strokes at Wickenburg Ranch Golf & Social Club. Schneiter's first round bogey-free 5-under 66 enabled the Sandy, UT resident to take control of the event.
In the second round Scheiter wasn't as clean bogeying three holes, but he also registered four birdies and an eagle on the par-5 7th hole.
Greg Bruckner of Phoenix, AZ was the only other golfer under-par and he finished second at 1-under. Ralph West (Surprise, AZ) and Bob Hamlett (Buckeye, AZ) finished the 36-hole tournament even-par and tied for third. Kelly Olohan (Sun City, AZ), Ben Sauls (Austin, TX) and Dave Kluver (Mesa, AZ) were all 1-over, tied for fifth.
About the Arizona Senior Open

The Arizona Senior Open is open to all professionals and amateurs that are at least 50 years of age. Format is 54 holes of stroke play with a cut after 36 holes.
