The qualifying period for the 2016 U.S. Women's Amateur Four-Ball Championship at Streamsong Resort came to a close last week

(April 18, 2016) – Last week the qualifying period for the 2016 U.S. Women's Amateur Four-Ball Championship at Streamsong Resort came to a close. Qualifying for the championship began in August and ran through the middle of April. The teams will all gather in Fort Meade, FL from May 21-25 to determine a winner.

Since we last updated you during in the middle of March five qualify days were held and the final teams were determined.

March 17 at Willow Creek Golf Club, Spring, TX

-Qualifying Team: Hailee Cooper (Montgomery, TX) and Kaitlyn Papp (Austin, TX)
-Alternate Teams: Maria Jose Martinez Almeida (Mexico) and Maria Fernanda Martinez Almeida (Mexico); Leslie Henry (Dallas, TX) and Becky Neal (Mansfield, TX)

March 21 at Green Valley Country Club, Fairfield, CA

-Qualifying Teams: Xinying Wang (Pleasanton, CA) and Katherine Zhu (San Jose, CA); Yoonhee Kim (San Ramon, CA) and Yealimi Noh (Concord, CA)-- qualified via playoff
-Alternate Teams: Sabrina Iqbal (San Jose, CA) and Simar Singh (Los Altos, CA); Lynne Cowan (Rocklin, CA) and Karen Garcia (Sacramento, CA)

March 24 at Money Hill Golf and Country Club, Abita Springs, LA

-Qualifying Team: Abbey Daniel (Covington, LA) and Julia Johnson (Baton Rouge, LA)
-Alternate Teams: Lauren Miller (Niceville, FL) and Ivy Shepherd (Peachtree City, GA); Kay Daniel (Covington, LA) and Sarah Davison (Choudrant, LA)

March 29 at Lantana Golf Club, Lantana, TX

-Qualifying Teams: Margaret Cowart (Austin, TX) and Kenzie Wright (McKinney, TX); Carrie Hall (Hot Springs, AK) and Julie Oxendine (Russellville, AK)
-Alternate Teams: Liz Scaggs (Farmers Branch, TX) and Carol Turnage (Anna, TX); Kerri Billingsley (Arlington, TX) and Joanna Staton (McKinney, TX)

April 13 at Richland Country Club, Nashville, TN

-Qualifying Teams: Julia Parker Dean (Brighton, MI) and Megan Furtney (St. Charles, IL); Tze Han Lin (Chinese Taipei) and Han Hsuan Yu (Chinese Taipei); Yu Chiang Hou (Chinese Taipei) and Yu Sang Hou (Chinese Taipei)--qualified via playoff
-Alternate Teams: Gabriela Coello (Orlando, FL) and Riley Rennell (Columbia, TN); Aubree Jones (Covington, TN) and Hailey Jones (Dallas, TX)
