Glenn Przybylski prevailed by a stroke at the Will County Amateur at Balmoral Woods Country Club
CRETE, IL (April 17, 2016)--Glenn Przybylski (+1) prevailed by a stroke and finally got over the hump winning the Will County Amateur. Last year Przybylski tied for second while in 2014 it was a fourth place tie. Przybylski finished a stroke in front of three golfers at at Balmoral Woods Country Club.
After an opening 1-under 71 Przybylski didn't make things easy on himself Sunday. Przybylski was even for the day after 12-holes but bogeyed No. 13 and then the 18th as he was barely able to hold on. He ended the day at 74, 2-over-par.
Brian Payne, Michael Faster and AJ Balulis all tied for second and a shot out of a playoff. Thomas Calbi and Eric Steinback were 3-over and T5.
About the Will County Amateur
36 hole stroke play event with a 144-player field. There will be a cut after 18 holes to the top 70 players and ties. Open to amateur players with index of 10.4 or less.
