SAVANNAH, Ga. — A battle of the Halls ensued at Wilmington Island Club as Chris Hall went four holes in sudden death to defeat Jack Hall at the inaugural Senior Oglethorpe Invitational.
Jack opened up the scoring on day one with a 67, which led all players by three, and the eventual winner by four. Jack came in with 72 on Thursday, while Chris posted 68 to send the two to a playoff. Chris made birdie on the fourth extra hole to come away victorious.
Toshi Hirata, who held second place, shot 78 on Thursday and dropped back into a tie for fourth place.
Frank Costanzo won the Super Senior Division, tying for fourth place in the Senior flight with Hirata at 148.
About the Senior Oglethorpe Invitational

Will not be held in 2018. Inaugural event in 2015. 36-hole championship at Wilmington Island Club, site of the annual Oglethorpe Invitational. For seniors over the age of 50.
